iM Guide: A Museum Mobile Multimedia Guide Platform
iM Guide is a museum mobile multimedia guide platform developed by Leisure Cultural Services Department HKSARG. It offers an immersive experience for museum visitors by providing text, audio, video, and multimedia content to enhance their understanding of exhibits. The platform also features indoor navigation techniques and outdoor GPS, allowing users to easily locate exhibits and facilities such as toilets and baby care rooms. Currently, iM Guide is available at the Hong Kong Science Museum, the Hong Kong Space Museum, Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, the Hong Kong Railway Museum, and along the Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail. In the future, it will expand its services to various museums under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
